When relationships remain difficult...
One of the difficulties of life is that we can not nicely clear everything up.
Sometimes we hear ourselves saying that there are people with whom you can not be fully at peace.
Sometimes these sentiments do not come to a happy resolution, no matter how hard you have tried.
We have tried our very best, we have come to a point to admit our mistakes and our faults,
We have sought forgiveness, and even tried reconciliation.
We talked about the issues, and confronted the problems,
The relationship remains refractory, difficult and ambivalent.
The harder we try to make things right, the worse it can get.
Frequently, the difficulty lies when we are unaware of what is amiss.
We are aware of symptoms, but there is absence of heart to heart talk, lack of insight and openness.
Let us remind ourselves that amidst difficult and painful circumstances,
There awaits another time, day and circumstances and can come at God’s precious own timing!
