Let us call it the “present state of affairs.”
Work is a great opportunity, to gain income for our needs, to create opportunities, to utilise our gifts and creativity and be able to work cooperatively with others.
Our workplace can be a place of competition rather than cooperation.
Work can bring desirable and undesirable consequences which may be a part of either a positive or negative environment.
To further bring more complication, there are things which may lead to fatigue not from the work itself, but from the environment.
We can make things harder for ourselves by pushing even if we have already done so much.
We become irritable and feels insufficient for things that we have done best.
Thus, the burden of work is compounded.
The joy of working becomes submerged and lead to something negative.
Work factors are structural but attitude is interpersonal.
Thus, we can be empowered if our approach is more of a positive attitude, and having a restful and contented spirit amidst this busy, complicated workplace.
Keep on going..
Pat yourself and say,
“ you have done a good job!”
