Care

To be a mental health helper we need to care!

We have a perception that we can not simply live for others and we can not just live for ourselves either.

When we are called to serve others in our helping professions as clinicians, counselors or those in the medical service,it is not simply a knowledge nor techniques learned, practiced and acquired.

It is a matter of personal encounter, a matter of drawing close, a matter of caring.

Care means to be present to the other person because helping without care makes us preoccupied with changes, and in its absence can lead to impatience and even unwillingness to share another person’s burden.

Counseling, healing and helping needs care and commitment.

Let us journey with them in their pain, difficulties and struggles.

Let us show them sincerity, honesty but especially care.

We care for you!
